What is a Corporate Food Donation?
The Food Bank's Main Program seeks to obtain both perishable and nonperishable items in quantities that can be distributed to area food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other feeding programs for those in need. In addition to food, the Food Bank also receives and distributes other needed household products such as diapers, personal hygiene items, detergents and cleaning supplies that cannot be purchased with food stamps.
What protection does a Corporation have when donating food?
The Good Faith Donor Act has protected companies in Texas from risk since 1981 and in all of America since 1996. We encourage you to check it out to set your mind at ease.
A Corporate Food Donation is not a Canned Food Drive. If you are hosting Canned Food Drive, please click here.
If you would like to make a Corporate Food Donation please fill out the form below. A staff member at NTFB will contact you to set an appointment to pick up your donation. If you have questions, please contact William Daniels or call 214.330.1396 ext. 134.
