Save the date for KRLD Restaurant Week ’08!
August 11-17, some restaurants extending through August 24 or 31, 2008
More than 100 restaurants will offer three-course, $35 fixed price meals to raise funds for the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope Home during this annual event, scheduled for August 11-17, 2008. Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on this special fundraiser, now in its 11th year!
“For the last five years, our Wild Women’s Group has taken full advantage of Restaurant Week during our August meeting - - dining at The Mansion, III Forks and even Jaspers. With so many choices it’s hard to pick just one. Thankfully many restaurants participate for two full weeks, as opposed to one, which provides ample opportunity for us to try new places.”
Pam, Dallas
“Restaurant Week is one of my most favorite times to dine out in Dallas. It’s a great excuse for a girl’s night out or a family outing. When else can you get a great deal on a three course meal and help a great cause at the same time? I’m already counting down to August!”
Natalie, Dallas
“We’ve had some of the best times around a table enjoying incredible food with friends!”
Bernard, Dallas

Restaurant Week Preview
August 8-10, 2008
This year you can kick off KRLD Restaurant Week a little early with Restaurant Week “Preview.” Friday, August 8 – Sunday, August 10 select restaurants will serve their 3-course prix fixe dinner with a snazzy, fun summer drink made with 10 Cane Rum! The prix fixe “Preview” dinner, which is $40, includes 3 courses and the 10 Cane Rum drink, as well as the optional Central Market 4th course. Some of the proceeds still benefit the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope Home, but for preview only, they also benefit the GDRA Chef’s of Restaurant Week Scholarship!
